Worst place to work.

Pros

Coworkers are awesome. Can be fun. Parents are nice. Can earn extra babysitting kids on the side. I babysit 3 kids from work on the side.

Cons

Director doesn't care, pay is not awesome. Never gives planning time. If you call in because you're grandpa is in the hospital dying they will call you multiple times asking for you to come in.

Pros

Great childcare discount Helping children learn and grow every day Building relationships with families

Cons

Huge push for good numbers, not enough focus on the positives in a center, executives that have never worked in a center, low pay for teachers, don't invest revenue back into their centers and rely too heavily on grant money from accreditation.

Depends on who you know

Pros

Decently average salary, lots of resources through corporate networking, rewards employees for having a degree. Good training program in place for employees.

Cons

Learning Care Group promotes based on who you know. Takes short cuts that can sometimes negatively impact the children and families that you are trying to serve. Shouldn't have teachers in rooms over ratio because someone called off, shouldn't classify ketchup as a vegetable because you are trying to save money on your food budget for the month (especially not when tuition is so high- these parents expect better).
