      Pros

      Lee Enterprises offers very good benefits. Lee is a great company to work for with a friendly environment. World class customer service. Room for personal growth and moving up in the company.

      Cons

      Not every Newspaper has the same procedures and rules. It makes it difficult to provide good service if do not have the correct information.

      Pros

      Steady work, average of only 40 hours a week no more or less. Direct boss is great and very helpful.

      Cons

      Pay is definitely needing to be evaluated. We keep loosing people because they are not paid enough. Also we are so far behind on software and are not able to do our jobs effectively because of how far behind our design, layout and accounting software is. The newest software we work on is at least 11 years old.

      Pros

      They did in fact pay me while I was there. They were friendly and attempted to be professional. They make a lot of promises.

      Cons

      Zero training, obsolete systems and processes. They are also very protective of each little portion of the workflow. Don't try to think outside the box, offer suggestions or help because they thrive on mediocrity.
