Pros

People that you work with and can confide with. Remote culture due to COVID.

Cons

If you're straight of college this job can be good for a year (or less) then exploring options after that is the next best option. Way below average pay, no cost of living increases, not much opportunity for advancement and poor leadership and direction within the management.

Pros

It was better when Berkshire Hathaway owned us

Cons

No communication whatsoever. Then you get in trouble because you didn't do something the correct way. No raises. Favoritism and nepotism within the company. No real training. Layoffs abound as do great hard working people, leaving on their own. This company will get rid of you in a minute and replace you with one of their own from Davenport and I wouldn't be surprised if the Richmond Times Dispatch building both Downtown Richmond and in Mechanicsville close permanently.

Pros

I honestly can't think of any.

Cons

Expecting writers to do five jobs in one, while barely paying them enough for one.
