Pros

I used to love working at this company (Richmond Times-Dispatch, owned by Lee Enterprises). It was very community-oriented and we cared about one another. The pay is good, but they've now introduced furlough days, so I'm making at least 2-5k less than usual -- so this is half pro, half con.

Cons

There isn't enough staff. They keep laying off people and expecting us to work miracles. It feels like being onboard the sinking Titanic.

Pros

This company has no idea what they are doing.

Cons

Every month they are making bad decisions and losing money. The upper management thinks they are going to be the biggest digital ad agency in the country, but run it like a broken business.
