Pros

You get good graphic design experience

Cons

Stressful deadlines with editors undermining your work; Management was unorganized and heavily believed in favoritism; Co-workers didn't care to talk much to each other, not very friendly; Office was always silent, to the point of being yelled at for talking too much; Creativity doesn't matter here if it goes against their ancient design style; Conversations between management and staff felt impersonal

Pros

- Management seems like it is trying to find crafty ways to work with newsrooms, even though the staff is very bare bones

Cons

- Exceptionally bad pay. Reporters in cheaper markets are paid about the same as reporters in pricey markets. - Corporate is really understaffed. They boast new tools to offer newsrooms but don't have the resources to meaningfully collaborate. - Unrealistic copy deadlines. Page designers seem way overworked. - Benefits and vacation policies are not good - Little room for advancement as staffs continue to shrink
