Owned by private equity which drove cutbacks and layoffs. The publications are a shell of their former selves.

Lots of overtime. Never without work.

Lots of forced overtime, with no work/life balance. Short staffed, but still required to meet the tight deadlines, which often creates unsafe working conditions.
