Pros

The people are amazing. All team members are extremely helpful and supportive. They care about their clients and their teammates.

Cons

If you are the type of person that speaks up and says what's on your mind, you will not have a job long at LZ Tax. They want all of their people to perform like robots, and you don't dare step out of line. They claim they want their employees to speak up, but when they do, they are publicly humiliated. And then they pull over two dozen teammates into a Zoom meeting and terminate them all at once. What kind of a human being does that? Every person deserves to be released in a private conversation. They should not feel like they are a herd of cattle being put out to pasture.

Pros

The pay is solid for customer service

Cons

I don't even know where to begin. Faulty systems with constant issues, poor management by leadership, lack of care for customers, shady business practices, poor communication, and an overall negative atmosphere. Dan Wernikoff and Scott McReynolds are destroying what was once a great company to work for. The management team has also posted many fake positive reviews on Glassdoor as well. Incredibly shady and deceptive

Pros

Mission, Generally nice people who like each other, gets a lot done with limited resources

Cons

-For a midsized company that has been around a long time, missing infrastructure and tools to do your job well - Dept teams/roles are not what you think they are ; long history of Tech making decisions without marketing and Product leadership from UK not believing in roadmap - It will take a long time to fix dysfunctional decision-making and new executives are not spending time on fixing it (plus there are too many people sucking up to them for them to notice good vs bad)
