Pros

Dress code is casual. Some nice people work there. Dress code is extra casual during the summer. Earning potential is pretty good in certain departments

Cons

Some departments only hire their friends. No room to grow. No valuable experience gained. The only departments making money are sales and customer care, if you don't like being on the phone you won't make any money

Pros

Steady, okay salary with small bonuses. There are a lot of really nice people, and I like the managers on my team. Located in a really nice building on a beautiful campus. Very nice, clean gym that is never busy.

Cons

I dread going to work each day and am currently planning my exit strategy. Every part of your day is timed and you are on an inbound queue with constant calls in a high volume. You are graded on your recorded calls and all sales are tracked. The sales department is open from 7am to 10pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Your schedule changes every month and you find out a week before what your schedule for the next month will be. It's based on your sales floor quality and quantity score, so if you have a bad month or have to be absent, get ready to work on the weekends or until 10 pm for the next month. Do you have a life and/or a family and like to plan things? Don't work here. If you make a relationship with a customer and don't close the sale on the first call, it's difficult get back in touch. You often lose the sale if you're not available when they call back, and they end up purchasing with a different salesperson. You don't have time to email clients back if they ask questions, unless you can multitask with the inbound queue. When the queue is busy, you are not allowed to make outbound calls or return voicemails. You have about 20 managers watching your every move, and your status is constantly monitored. I you get up to leave your desk to go to the bathroom, your status blinks in red "unscheduled activity". It's a call center, with cubicles and it's loud. Most people I talk to do not like it there. Get ready for lots of complaining. It's a really big startup even after many years. Don't waste your time or your precious life! It's just not worth it.

Pros

It is super easy to be hired on here, the company is absolutely desperate for workers.

Cons

There is no such thing as work-life balance here you will be asked to work over time, which is great right? Well if you need the money bad enough sure... But expect to burn out within 5-8 months. There is nothing pleasant about this job, other than being a recent college grad and needing to fill a gap on the resume, in fact if you just did graduate don't take this job. You will learn all the bad habits of management (not caring about their people, seeing a huge phone call que and more worried about where they are going to golf next or when they can sneak away to play basketball). If you are a sales professional, you will be absolutely wasting your time with this place, their sales dept. Is no more than a call center, there is no such thing as pipeline building because you wont have time to ever call your customers back. If you are asked to work in the document prep dept... You will be an educated fool, treated like a pee on. Your time is not valued, I have never seen so many college degreed folks asked to do a monkey job... Wait till customers hear that people in India are actually prepping some of these "legal" documents for people in the USA. Customer service dept... your hands are tied, can't make decisions for your self. Oh and there will be about 700 people waiting in a que to scream at you to fix a miss spelling that someone in India missed on the documents prepared. Account Management dept... oh wait there isn't one! Pay is below average in Austin or America in fact... Can't make a living here or be prepared to be on govt assistance like the rest.
