Pros

Great benefits and good place to learn if you were new to tax

Cons

Not much room for growth / unstable leadership / inconsistencies among team members / managers don’t do anything / can not truly help the client as they would benefit going somewhere else.

Pros

Democratizing law is an inspiring mission. You will learn fast here.

Cons

- Insufficient money is spent maintaining the majority of Legalzoom’s 100+ products leaving employees to scramble and customers to suffer. - leadership including c level micromanages the small details for teams like minor website changes while ignoring systematic issues that actually need leadership’s attention. - there is no transparency. The CEO, CTO, COO get 100% bonuses but they don’t share what their bonus goals are with the rest of the company. Goals across the company are vague and not aligned between teams much less so departments. - The harder you work the more people get laid off and the harder you are required to work. It’s not sustainable. - data driven seems to mean collecting as much data as possible then ignoring anything that doesn’t confirm leadership’s opinions.
