Good colleagues and cooperative work environment but unnecessary management over head

Pros

Reasonable and good benefits Friendly and cooperative colleagues Good benefits and decent vacation days Great area of work:Cancer Research Managers are reasonable in accommodating needs

Cons

Too much management over head. We don't need several layers of managers consuming a chunk of budget leaving little for actual individual contributors. It will help to follow a clean lean and just as much as needed management presence.

- Capable, dedicated team - Ample opportunities - Top-notch technical resources and support staff - Wide range of disciplines within the 3 major towers of Engineering, Health Care and Cybersecurity - Strong SAIC-based legacy

Cons

- Relatively new brand still undergoing seismic changes to streamline operations - As with any large company, unclear paths of leadership often resulting in unnecessary political wrangling and overlaps - Benefits weaker than comparable companies

Not so Great Place to Work

Pros

Great group of people that I worded with, was like a family in looking out for each other.

Cons

Management does not have a clue on how to run a company or take care of people. Butts in seat type of company that will put you out the door in the blink of an eye. Management looks out for their personal best interest and yearly bonus and cares nothing about workers. Worked there for 38 years and would not go back on a bet.
