      Pros

      Very little to add on pros, as I had 0 work-life balance (required to travel 100% of the time) and was not exposed to any of the company culture outside of my division. I believe other divisions may have better experiences.

      Cons

      Divisions are incredibly segmented and have 0 interaction with one another. Policies do not seem to be uniformly enforced. Provides 0 training, instead you must learn on your feet.

      Pros

      Government contract work typically gives you the opportunity to work on various DoD projects that expand your skill set. As a statistician, I have been exposed to projects where I have used various statistical methods, wrote up my research in technical reports and journal manuscripts, and presented the research at professional conferences. Leidos also supports training and provides tuition reimbursement for employees pursuing higher education.

      Cons

      Health insurance premiums are quite high.
