Pros

In person events Random gifts Free food in office

Cons

Underpaid and overworked employees, regardless of dept. Bad culture Leadership cannot lead Customer concerns aren't taken seriously Employee concerns are dismissed No accountability Not transparent at all Claim handling habits are terrible Still acting as if they have 200 employees. Slack posts with a lot of emojis are the most recognition you'll get. No compensation for a job well done or working extra.

Pros

Work from home. Equipment is provided. Cool after work Activities

Cons

Unfair compensation. HORRIBLE training. Expect to get thrown in the deep end with no help. Owners are more concerned with their brand than being a reputable insurance company. Spreading employees to thin by adding new products. Unrealistic expectations to have all employees have an “upbeat” attitude while not making a livable wage and not getting paid for 3 weeks but given a forced last minute 3 days off that created more of a headache instead of giving a bonus. Events are catered to young single people with no responsibilities.

Pros

Nice logo. That's as far as it goes.

Cons

This is an insurance leads company marketed to the public as a tech company. I'll repeat. This is an insurance leads company marketed to the public as a tech company. Tech is last thing anybody cares about. Management would spend a year designing a button so it's just perfect, but wouldn't spend an hour on a technical discussion. Just write the code already. Make it work, somehow. You're a code monkey. What they call "different" is just another way to say "awful". In less than a year the company managed to hire over 5 very senior and experienced managers and engineers, they all left. The ones who replaced them are clueless. If that doesn't tell you something about the place, what will?
