Pros

It's a place where people think outside the box, work hard, are dedicated & only strive for the best. Good compensation, love the Office (AMS centre, MacBook, dogs allowed, snacks) and people are nice to work with. This place boosted my development

Cons

No concrete cons. Just be aware that this is a global company

Pros

20 days PTO Strictly WFH

Cons

While a start up company does constantly change, Lemonade has changed for the worse. They preach how generous and thoughtful they are to policyholders and share holders, but they treat their employees terribly. Discrimination is rampant in all of the departments, including but not limited to racial, gender and disability. However, they will only meet with you via Zoom and will not put anything in writing. The company must know this is happening and supports it since in the employee handbook it states that nobody is allowed to record meetings, and doing so will result in termination. If you attempt to get anything in writing, they will just tell you repeatedly that it’s a Zoom conversation. There is no growth within the company, and they have done an excellent job eliminating roles that were once a stepping stone in advancing your career. There is no accountability for mistakes unless you’re a top performer in your department, which they will use the smallest things to make a career or salary advancement harder. If you work on a sub par level, you’ll likely move up and be well compensated. If you go above and beyond in your role, you will still make less than your peers that do the daily bare minimum.
