      Pros

      the dedication to people management and the processes and approach for constant improvement in this area is very impressive. significant investment in time, money and priorities focused on getting better every day as the company grows.

      Cons

      the performance bar is high, and the learning curve is steep. insurance experience can help. ability to stand up, tell your story or pitch your idea with confidence and humility and very highly valued. can be a con for some, and a pro for others.

      Pay attention to who you promote and pay your employees correctly

      the people have been great in the past but now most have left and the people here are inexperienced and have no idea how to run the company

      Cons

      pay bands are not transparent and managers can't even know what their team makes, more focus on writing glassdoor reviews than actually improving the experience for employees, raises are nonexistent and stock is worthless

      Pros

      This is a great group of people who love to collaborate, think big, and make things happen. I came from a VERY different background (journalism & the art world) and never thought I'd end up in insurance. Instead of regretting the decision I've found my new professional life to be far more rewarding and fun than my previous one (!). Lemonade can be the perfect fit for someone who is proactive, eager to grow and learn, and who wants to pivot to a new type of role (journalists, graphic designers, art directors, general wild-eyed creative types—that means you). Also, as the father of a 3-year-old, this is an incredibly generous and understanding environment for parents.

      Cons

      Big projects and dreams can sometimes hit the wall of budget limitations and bandwidth limitations, but that's not unique to Lemonade.
