      My Experience from H1B to Green Card status

      Pros

      They sponsor your Green Card but for at least 8-9 years.

      Cons

      They treat you like a hostage. I always feel like that or shall we say they treat you like a product without feeling and future. They don't care as long as they are earning. They cheat on your H1B extension by letting you pay for the premium processing. They avoid the regular much cheaper processing because by law they are obliged to pay for it.

      Good work Environment. Helpful Co-workers and the reaching out to colleagues is quite flexible Work life balance could be maintained well

      Not much growth opportunities are available. Learning areas are limited and You can not improve your skills and knowledge area here

      Usually the people you work with are good people, professional, family people. Discount at the owner's deli downstairs

      Cons

      zero direction high turnover not many clients no sales people lies, lies, and more lies compensation is bad hours are long micro managed management doesn't manage must always do what the owner says when the owner decides to come in. owner more concerted with partying than running a business properly
