      Pros

      The employee benefits are not great but better than the standard average.

      Cons

      Restrictions on promotion of staff. Not friendly towards pregnant mothers. Encourage and tolerance of hostile work environment. Overworked and grossly underpaid. The legal department environment is deplorable. Taking pride in being condescending, degrading, and causing staff to feel worthless is not an accomplishment. It's a reflection of the operators true selves. This treatment is not only inflicted on staff in the legal department at Lennar in Miami, but to my astonishment, vendors as well. To laugh about making someone cry and feeling empowered in doing so is truly unacceptable and even more so when exercising the scales of justice.

      The Division President was nice.

      Cons

      I got poached by a recruiter. I came from a company that had a great culture, so a traditional one was a shock. Turns out, I knew the person I replaced. Small world and was not treated fairly after that was discovered. I came from a finance background and upon doing accounting work was told "I don't care whether you went to school for accounting or finance, I don't feel the need to train you on something you went to school for." I should have not ignored the tell tale signs with the interview and onboarding process. If you have a choice, I would walk away from this opportunity, as I did. Someone else will match the pay with a better culture.

      Loved the work, not the job. Construction Management, while stressful can be fun and enjoyable.
