Just don't work in IT

Pros

As long as you don't work in IT, it's a great company to work for as per other employees.

Cons

In reference to IT, way to much red tape to get anything accomplished. It's safe to say the Federal government has less bureaucracy. Everyone is on-edge about losing their job over a technicality and work in a constant state of paranoia. The place swarms with H1B visa holders and sub-contractors waiting to take on perm positions.

There are zero pros to working in this division.

Cons

There is very little, if any , integrity . They will sell homes at drastically reduced prices to investors and instruct their sales agents to sell the same house next door at a higher price . employees are treated like dirt by management . They move sales agents around communities 60 miles from home . Hours are extended. No one is happy , all doom and gloom.

Pros

Stable company the majority of the people you work with are friendly and helpful. Everyone will work long hours and that is a norm so don't apply if you are a slacker.

Cons

Treat your staff well and appreciate them for what they bring to the division and stop treating us as two separate companies. Now that with the acquisition of WCI it is vividly apparent that the former WCI employees are receiving pay increases, bonuses, and other perks while the original Lennar employees are being treated like step children.
