In the near 5 years I have been at this company, they have reorganized more times than I can count. There is no stability and layoffs are common. No opportunity for growth.

Sales depend on federal funding of government contracts so slumps and periodic layoffs are inevitable. Upper management is trying to restructure the organization to be profitable but may not understand the mix of businesses involved so it's been chaotic the last couple years. The business unit I worked for didn't value technical marketing or the importance of managing people and didn't seem to know how to do business development.
