      Pros

      None! Corporate is such a Toxic Environment, specifically the Accounting and Finance Teams.

      Cons

      1. Bullying from the people who have been there for ages. They are stuck in their way and have no interest in changing any way of doing things. 2. Zero diversity! If you are not white, do not bother, they will make your life hell! 3. Horrible training/onboarding. Expectation is to come in and know how everything works and what to do with almost zero instruction from day one. 4. Taking PTO will put a target on your back if you are not VP and above. 5. The 9/80 schedule means nothing! You will work almost all off Fridays and most nights! Don't fall for the bait. There is no work life balance!

      Pros

      Starting pay is great, opportunities to explore old technology, in new ways by people with zero experience is a common task.

      Cons

      Toxic personality’s, like a wave there are times of high and low stress. Many people have been with DRS there entire career, and some have become tyrants, which breeds new tyrants. The organization is very siloed, and CYA is standard. If you like fake smiles and playing politics with people that need their ego stroked you’ll go far. Be warned, after starting pay increases will be 1-5% with 2% on average, bonuses don’t exist, and you’re expected to like it. Changing roles can have a pay bump but it can come with a trial period.

      Pros

      Defense contractor pay range which is relatively higher when compared to similar roles in other industry

      Cons

      Leadership gets their friends and families jobs in the same division. I think it’s complete BS that this does not affect compensation or advancement opportunities. Work events are very clicky.
