Avoid This Company Like the Plague
Pros
Technically they do have a 9-80 schedule which is nice, but you will be expected to work every off-Friday or risk being defamed by management.
Cons
I would never recommend Leonardo DRS to anyone. Poor pay and benefits compared to other local companies. Management pretends to push work/life balance when you are new, but as the months go on you will be expected to consistently work at least 50-60 hours per week. If you are not consistently working at least this much by the end of your first year, management will harass you and ignore your accomplishments. No continuity within the company. I had multiple managers during my time at the company, some of them were only in their position for a couple months. Consistently asked by other employees to do their work for them. Constantly being told that management is working towards hiring new employees to reduce the insane workload. But they only hire someone when another engineer is fired or quit. Incompetent management that actively works to sabotage the careers of the employees they are not personally close with. Generally, the employees that complain the most get what they want as long as they are close to someone in management. This happens regardless of whether they have any legitimate reasoning for their complaints. Management won't hesitate to defame, belittle, and harass employees they disagree with. I was harassed by a manager for taking sick leave for doctor's appointments because I "looked too healthy." This manager also threatened me to say anything about there conduct to HR and see what would happen. Another one of my managers was caught attempting to ruin my career by defaming me to HR, other managers, and other employees. This manager did this for months. Eventually the manager became wrapped up in the lies they had spread and HR was given proof that this manager was being completely dishonest. HR quickly told me they would investigate and ended the conversation. HR never investigated as promised. But the manager knew they had been caught so they quickly stopped defaming me. "Somehow" I became a great employee overnight. Until I decided to leave the company. Then he began defaming me again until I finished my two weeks period. This manager didn't even have the decency to speak with me on my final day at the company.
