Pros

I have been fortunate to find a place where I can be heard. We all come from different backgrounds and it is refreshing that my leadership has an open mind and really listen to ideas from others. A start-up firm is not for everyone as it is ever-changing, can be challenging and late nights! I would recommend working for Lessen if you welcome change, enjoy learning , want to have a voice, and work with some really bright people in the industry. I have some of the greatest co-workers and supervisors. We work extremely hard as we believe in Lessen but we also like to have fun while doing it. I appreciate that our leaders are consistently working hard to better our benefits, from health to 401K employer match to fun events.

Cons

At this time, I don't have any complaints.

Lessen has provided me with many opportunities for career growth! The people and culture make work fun. It is exciting to be part of the Lessen team as we build and grow an amazing and successful company together.

Cons

Startups have their challenges but I know Lessen is making great strides in the employee experience including making the benefits more competitive. This has been a very tough task for other startups that I've worked at but Lessen has stepped up earlier on in ways that other companies have not been able to.

Poor decision making from corporate, treat you like a number and poor communication from corporate.

We agree that communication channels between the field and corporate are imperative. We have recently decided to increase the number of leaders in each region so that there is more bandwidth for communication and support to the field teams. Thank you for your input.
