Pros

-Great co-workers. Use to be a great company that care for their employees.

Cons

-Too many departments and managers and no one communicates. -Quarterly layoffs off employees that really work vs letting go of upper management that do nothing. -Untrustworthy company that only cares how they make the money…screwing over vendors and clients.

Pros

Lots of drinks kept in stock in the fridges of all locations, IPAs, wine and everything else you could want at your office, and work events that include lots of drinking, a pro if you like to drink, con if coworkers cant handle there liquor, it can cause uncomfortable situations, not alot of maturity in some areas but keeps it light and fun, not your typical 9-5 experience!

Cons

Frivolous, spending and decision making when sending employees back and fourth to different offices out of state instead of entrusting tasks on at hand employees, airfare, room, food and transportation creates reimbursement requests that were never ending! Managment in different departments are making unconscionable decisions that could financially hurt the company, allowing for so much movement of employees to transfer in and out of a location to another and covering the cost of the relocation, increased cost of living and not utilizing resources for local talent or a current employee at the physical site to avoid the excessive spending is incomprehensible, and creates a sense of favoritism amongst your workforce. Many gifts that exceed $100 are given out and most companies typically steer away from excessive items again trying to avoid any favoritism amongst employees. Last thing is alot of fundraising, childrens events and sales going on for unwork related extracurricular activities for peoples children, it makes employees feel obligated and uncomfortable when being asked especially when your put on the spot at work A financial advisor, and implementation of a budget within departments would allow more insight on what is being spent and where it is going, this may help you regain traction to keep moving in a positive direction, if you can get a grip on so much unnecessary spending.

Thank you for the feedback. Lessen has traditionally been a work hard, play hard start up. However, we do have travel and expense policies established and a capable accounting team that audits expenses.
