Pros

Strong brand history and amazing coworkers.

Cons

Very "in crowd" mentality from the merch/design leadership. Using the company and the company's money to live out their own false ideas of superiority. Money is being spent on lavish trips, parties and useless videos rather than investing in people. Narcissism is rampant and plenty of sycophants around to fan the flames. Results in lack luster leadership with no one able to make a decision. Company keeps on rolling thanks to people on the ground.

Pros

I wanted to join Levi's at the time because it was such a legacy brand. I knew it was struggling but had high hopes that things could turnaround. It's pretty creative environment with new products and it's an exciting industry even if it is very competitive.

Cons

I wanted to love it, but the culture is a little messed up. It's so backward in it's ways. It talks a lot about it's history so much so that they forget to look forward in the future. The systems are very antiquated and while the people are very creative, they don't seem to really know how to run a business. It's very much a "in" crowd mentality and they definitely play favorites. I felt like i was in high school - a very passive aggressive level of bullying goes on.

Pros

You get 40% off You can listen to your ipod during closing Customers can be nice and appreciate your work

Cons

There's no commission, we can't accept tip, managers make a rule one day and don't apply it the next day, new workers get more hours then old workers, managers are rude and unprofessional, managers may change the schedule during the middle of the week and not notify you yet expect you to know, they may call you a few hours before your shift to cancel your shift, they forget to put in their daily manager schedule that you work for the day so may "give you the day off" for their mistake, as soon as you clock out they want you to leave the store asap so you can't wait inside the store for a fellow coworker or friend/family, instead, they treat you like a criminal and you have to leave their premises, people get hours that don't deserve it because they play favorites, don't expect to get promoted or have any increase in salary, they don't look at how hard you work or how many customers are satisfied with your service, you and almost every sales associate may have weeks with 0 hours, they don't appreciate you or your work, there are new managers 2-3 months replacing other managers, even manager have left because of management and better opportunities in other companies, managers put you down, managers think that you can only be good at one thing and don't think you can do anything else or even try to give you a chance to do anything else, they try to have only women helping women and men helping men but, in my opinion, any employee should be able to help anyone, and there's so much more negative but I don't want to write a novel...
