Pros

The Executive Management especially the COO has turned this company around and made it a best in class company. The strategy developed for growth and profitability is right on. The company is matrix so sometime difficult to keep everyone happy but the executive management and business unit general managers are really good at keeping everyone aligned with the strategic objectives. The pay is for performance and compensation is good.

Cons

It is great that Leviton is still a family run company but the family members are ineffective, show up sometimes, add zero value and frankly create a bad working environment. The family members at the top are completely useless.

The Leviton family members are the reason to work here, there is tremendous 2-way loyalty to good employees.

Cons

Influx of consultants who have moved into executive positions, and still act like consultants instead of leaders or even decent managers, bringing in favoritism and other problems into an otherwise healthy work environment.

Pros

Great benefits, up to date hardwear to do your job, pay for schooling or classes. If your into not progressing and love to sit for ever this is the place!

Cons

Boring, work gets dull after a year, there is really so little room to be creative, or to grow in your job. Managers stick around for 20 to 25 years so moving around is very hard. Another con everyone is a senior manager, so if your lower they dump something on you. If you make a error, which can happen they complain to HR and or your managers.
