      Pros

      Independent workloads allow you to readily measure your success. There are limited barriers to implementing new ideas if you are willing to champion them by yourself.

      Cons

      Upper management focuses on obtaining new companies in place of improving on infrastructure weaknesses. Outdated software and a lack of processes has lead to a focus on tribal knowledge. There is a trend of talented individuals coming into the company, championing and implementing new ideas, then leaving the company leaving artifacts of good ideas with no current support and no documentation.

      Good people, challenging environment, employee discounts, job security, engaging employees with internal events such as information sessions, webinars and 'fun' days

      Cons

      Low pay, no opportunities for advancement, little flexibility, dirty business practices, training and development in HR is terrible, upper management is indifferent to concerns
