Pros

- Cool venues - Unlimited PTO - Decent perks

Cons

- They pretend you're all part of this magical "family" as long as money is coming in. If not, they dont care about you. - They will churn out entry level/low level employees regardless of experience while promoting/giving huge bonuses to team "favorities" regardless of performance. - They flaunt their yearly earnings, throw huge events for senior management but when it comes to providing team members with decent raises, "its not in the budget." - They are dangerously arrogant in terms of the way senior management acts around other employees and the political games they play. - If you do the absolute bare minimum you can get a director position as long as you dont leave. - When they lay you off, they treat you like you never mattered to them or ever even worked there.

Stay away if you value work life balance

Pros

Fellow management team but can also be a con if you get idiots running the show.

Cons

Working 70 hours or more a week! The management is so top heavy with home office people that don't really contribute to locations. I mean how many VP's, Senior Regional Directors Ops, Regional Director of OPs, and so on do you need? The only idea that is contributed by them is "We need to cut this expense and managers, let's make them do the work of 4 people. This company says we value our employees but they only really value the bottom line. They are way behind the times with ERP systems. They are now trying to upgrade their systems which should have been done 10 years ago! There is literally little to no communication between home office and location management. They expect you to know all the changes in the company by going on Levy Source every day. This company is a true hypocrite, telling you that they value you but really only care about the bottom line. If I was Larry Levy, I would have made them change the name of the company when I sold it to Compass.

Pros

For some the location (Oak and Michigan) is a bonus, but if you live in the suburbs or basically anywhere that isn't the north side of the city, it is a rough commute. It's interesting if you're into watching police activity when the local shops get robbed, which is daily.

Cons

This is the most poorly run, unprofessional environment I've ever experienced. If you have never had a professional job and start here, it will seriously hurt your career and expectations of what a job should be. No one seems to know what's going on. It's been half a year and I barely have access to what I need in order to do my job, management is out of touch or doesn't care, and the one person who seems to control all systems and access will only give out bits of information if you word your questions in a way he likes. It would be slightly less awful if, in addition, there weren't ghastly people with titles like "architect" who clearly don't know what they're doing but try to cover it up by yelling over everyone and barking ridiculous commands. Maybe other areas of the company are different, but I wouldn't know since there is no cohesion, and not even an org chart to use as a reference point. It's maddening and I look forward to moving on. I wish I hadn't believed them in the job interview, because this is not what I was hired to do.
