Pros

Actual team is like a family Some benefits are good Majority of "pros" are no longer valid

Cons

Leadership driving the teams to exhaustion due to poor planning on their part. Either C-Levels and above are oblivious or ignoring the poor planning of projects, rewarding certain leaders with promotions when they are clearly the common denominator regarding issus within the teams. Teams being expected to work 60-80hr weeks to try and rescue a failing project while "leadership" go skiing for a week. People being let go because of supposed poor performance - but when things are still going wrong or actually getting worse, shows the problems are with other people within leadership. The very high moral we used to have has disintegrated, with the majority cleaning up resumes and looking for the exit.

Lexipol did recently eliminate a number of positions as part of a strategic reinvestment plan. Rather than a cost-cutting measure, this was a reallocation of resources reflecting our unwavering commitment to fostering growth and innovation that will provide our customers with the solutions they need to operate safety and efficiently. As Lexipol continues its rapid expansion, these changes will position us to invest in technological advances and provide best-in-class, mission-critical solutions to public safety agencies and local government organizations across the country.

Pros

LGBT and senior citizen friendly. The founders. The mission statement.

Cons

Company culture and employee morale is extremely depressing. Severe lack of racial diversity. The CEO likes to do things the old fashion way, which means new ideas are not taken seriously (or at all), even it means increasing efficiency and revenue. There is rampant favoritism and nepotism. No annual performance reviews. The company has taken almost 2 years to launch Salesforce and it still isn’t live.
