      Pros

      Company is reasonably stable and financially sound and has good technology.

      Cons

      As a division of a bigger company they don't invest in employees much. Work place is tight, all extra space is being used as data center or storage.

      Pros

      Overall LexisNexis is a very good company to work for and very friendly engineering environment. Many knowledgeable peers with lots of experience and great life/work stories. - good working environment - very stable company - corporate environment - opportunity for growth - ability to work from home as need (with manager's approval) - work hours flexibility

      Cons

      - slow professional grows (not like in private sector) - slow innovations - stupidity is tolerated - significantly less brilliant people hold very senior engineering positions due to seniority in the company... - software developers get crappy dell computers with small monitors (shame on you LexisNexis)
