Pros

Unlimited vacation, great 401(k) matching.

Cons

Software side (formerly Perceptive Software) now being managed by Kofax in anticipation of selloff. Substantial layoffs in preparation for the sale. Substantial culture change from old days.

Pros

As far as Enterprise Software goes, the people I work with are fantastic and the building in Lenexa is nice also. Nice having the cafe onsite.

Cons

Leadership. The leadership that came to be after the Kofax acquisition is horrible. Also, the products are not being developed on.

Pros

My peers are amazing engineers and great collaborators. Leadership within the Lenexa office is doing their best given circumstances and they have my fullest respect.

Cons

I have worked in the KC area office for eight years. R&D team and management has always been great and my superiors always advocated for their engineers, but now that is changing. Leadership has changed and made it clear they plan to sell. Those that advocated for us have either been pushed out or seen the signs and left. The good days are done here. It Is never good when your VP and officers refer to their developers as "code monkeys". That actually happened...
