Pros

Liaison has a wonderful culture. Good people from top to bottom.

Cons

Contracts tend to need renegotiations for pay increases, which is standard for this type of work, but still a hassle. However, Liaison negotiates for you, and they have your back.

Pros

Liaison has contracted me out to a larger corporation. Overall, the experience has been more or less faultless. Firstly, I'm extremely grateful for having met Scott Huber, Liaison's Director of Talent Strategy. If it wasn't for his careful consideration of my experience, skills, and talent, I may have never gotten the opportunity. It's extremely refreshing to feel seen in corporate America, which is how his personalized support has made me feel throughout my time with Liaison. The rest of the team too has been professional, approachable, kind, and extremely capable. I've never had to wait long for an answer to any question or request. Whether reaching to Cindy, Mora, Amy, or Ben, I've always been met with support and patience. I'm also grateful for Dave Claunch, the Founder and President of Liaison. Whether through responding to my email on the weekend or sending his birthday wishes, he too has made me feel valued as a person and a member of the team. Liaison also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including PTO, 401k matching, etc.

Cons

Currently, the health insurance plan is a bit pricey in that with the buy up option, the copay for certain office visits is $55. The base plan is covered by Liaison fully.

Good People vs. Ping Pong Tables

Pros

The people are genuinely thoughtful and are always ready to lend a hand when you need it. What I love most is how much trust they put in us to do great work - no micromanaging here! Everyone I work with actually cares about doing their best work and helping their colleagues, which makes such a huge difference.

Cons

While the medical, dental, and 401k benefits are on par or better than many small companies, they can't offer the shiny perks that larger organizations offer. At the end of the day though, I'll take good people and job security over a ping-pong table and ice cream socials.
