Pros

Solid and stable company. Treats employees fairly. Plenty of room for opportunity and advancement if you seek it.

Cons

Technology is a byproduct of the business...not the business itself. Not as ideal for a software developer as a company that is more technology focused. There is also a lot of unmotivated dead weight floating around - people who just want to do the bare minimum to get their paycheck and not get fired.

Pros

Some managers encourage collaboration among teams, very good salary, vacation time, flex time. Liberty is on the cutting edge with technologies and can provide development opportunities.

Cons

Human Resources does not help the non-manager employees. Work environment can be very stressful at times and it seems as though Liberty does not care about their employees, only their bottom line and financial statement.
