Pros

I’ve been with this company for 14 years, and I’ve been a direct care supervisor for six of those. It’s safe to say that despite the emotional ups and downs, I bleed Liberty Point. I’ve had the wonderful privilege of helping young men realize their own personal greatness for almost 1/3 of my life. We are constantly growing, adjusting our program to meet new needs, and improving communication to provide the best service possible. There is nothing quite like entering a unit full of traumatized young men, and watching them smile when they see you, knowing you are there for them when so many have turned away. Above all, we are healers, and we take that role very seriously. I look forward to helping train talented staff in the art of changing and saving lives. “To empower and equip”... our motto... our goal.

Cons

This is a challenging job that isn’t for everyone, but if you’re right for this, you will be in a unique position to change lives. I’ve seen it hundreds of times.

Pros

A few supportive staff that encourage you so you can get through your work day.

Cons

-Poor management -Under pays employees working at the MHS level -ignores patients diagnosis and often puts MHS staff in harms way. -Not enough room to do your work. -no ventilation on the units. -unsanitary conditions -Management isn't truthful about job description and their is no contract given to you. I assume they did this so they don't have to be liable if you get hurt. -No career advancement for those with a bachelors degree in counseling. You can start obtaining hours for QMHP with a bachelors degree, but Liberty Point doesn't offer hours for that. (These are the main cons, but I promise you there is much more.)

Pros

The best part about working at LP is the autonomy given by our supervisors to complete our work.

Cons

The bad thing about working at LP is the "I don't care, I do what I want" culture of the staff.
