Pros

the staff discount, the beautiful building, the location.

Cons

Liberty has fostered a toxic environment that is encouraged from the top down. It is cut throat and viscous. As a business their interest does not lie in their employees, front of house or back of house and management are used as blunt tools to enforce the latest draconian attitude from the Leadership Team. The HR team are trained to do as they are told which means that several employees have found themselves investigated and dragged through disciplineries based on very little or NO evidence of wrong doing. To speak up, is to sign your own P45 and you will find ourself out of a job in no time. A certain amount of time and energy to is put into creating glossy slogans of 'Team work' and 'Career Paths' but the damage and rot, has corroded any trust the employees have of a positive change ever occurring. From a Head Office point of view, it is a volatile and highly charged environment where doing your best will still never be enough.

Thank you for your review, and although its disappointing to see a negetative view of your time with the business, it enables me to share what we have been doing over the last year. By doing an Employee Survey we were able to gain real tangible insight into some of the concerns that employee's have. This has enabled us to work with both the leadership and management teams to address these concerns and feedback to any changes we've made have been very positive.

Pros

Simply none - the worst place that ruined my mental health

Cons

Everything at liberty is a con when you compare it to other companies. No benefits what so ever

Pros

Location of Office is near central

Cons

This was the worst working experience of my entire career. After leaving i had a lot of anxiety and self doubt. It is a very cut throat environment especially in fast turning teams. I was offered zero training and crucified for each and every mistake i made but the anxiety meant i made even more mistakes. On my last day i was escorted out like i had stolen something from them and was told 'we don't hold hands here' and also told off for showing up on time and not an hr earlier, and you can forget leaving on time too. If you look and play the part and know what you're doing great, try it for the 'prestige'. But if you want training and to grow... stay away. when it comes to fashion at times just because you love the brand doesn't mean its a joy to work there. The girl before me lasted 6 months, the girls after me same, less than a year and i used to always see the role constantly advertised. This was the only thing that gave me the little bit of confidence back that perhaps it wasn't just me otherwise i literally get chills when i think of it.
