Old fashioned company that isn't worth the name on your CV

Pros

Staff Discount and Head Office location is in a wonderful part of London

Cons

This company seems to be very proud of it's heritage, which stems from a man appropriating and ripping off textiles from India to sell at a cheaper price in the UK. The tradition continues to this very day in the head office, where people are payed less than then the average competitive wage to work over their mental and physical threshold. This is the only culture that the company espouses, a neo-colonialist capitalist model of employment that brings everyone down apart from those who profit off the sweat and tears of the proletariat.

Leadership team chaos

Pros

Product team discount. Junior staff really working hard to make a change. Women at leadership level.

Cons

There is limited structure and process, and almost no clarity around overall business direction. The Leadership team is big but ineffective. There are a lot of people working hard in the business to drive change or create something to be proud of, but their hard work gets dashed when last minute changes in direction and focus are made at leadership level.
