Pros

Good salary for Portuguese average salaries and cost of living. Also, good benefits such as a company-provided personal car with a fuel allowance and a good medical plan. Career development programs.

Cons

No work-life balance due to continuous rotating shifts, with a schedule from Monday to Sunday, between 5 AM and 10 PM. Poor investment in human resources, causing shifts to extend to 10-hour shifts several times.

Pros

Lidl offers an incredibly dynamic work environment—no two days are ever the same. The team culture is fantastic, and there are plenty of career development opportunities. One of the standout aspects is the ability to move within the business and gain exposure to different departments, which really broadens your perspective. I also appreciate the high level of trust and autonomy given by management, which empowers you to take ownership of your work.

Cons

The workload can be intense at times, and the pace is very fast. There’s often a strong sense of urgency, so it’s important to be someone who thrives in a high-pressure environment.
