      Pros

      The best mission in the world; a strong culture that is laser-focused on that mission; incredible benefits like fantastic healthcare, wellness reimbursement, flexible vacation policy, childcare, 401k matching, a cell phone allowance; amazing leaders and peers that care deeply about each person on the team, and every opportunity to learn and grow in your role, and in your personal and spiritual life.

      Cons

      It's super hard to work here. This is not a place to come park for 40 hours and collect a paycheck. What we do is mentally, emotionally, and spiritually challenging. The pace is fast, the resources are limited, and the standard of excellence is high. We are all expected to give our best and be constantly developing and improving. There's a high feedback culture and you will be corrected when you miss the mark. This is a "con" to some, but it's actually something I cherish about the culture. Also, sacrifice. We employ some world-class creatives, engineers, writers, leaders, etc., and while our benefits are best in class, they could make more money somewhere else. But that's not why we're here.

      I'm not surprised at all that it's a "Best Place to Work"!

      Pros

      Wow, Life.Church is truly a special place! I can honestly say that I'm excited to come to work every day. The entire staff is passionately chasing after a clear and inspiring mission. We get to learn from world-class leaders who care about our lives beyond just our roles. We're given opportunities every single day to develop as leaders and followers of Christ. We receive crazy generous benefits. We have fun and genuinely enjoy working together. And best of all, we get to see life change happen right before our eyes as God works through us. I can't imagine a better place to live out my calling!

      Cons

      Because we believe so strongly in the importance of our mission, we work hard, we move at a very fast pace, and we have a high feedback culture. There's a high level of intensity and urgency to what we do. If you're not wired with similar levels of drive, passion, and teachability, this will be a very challenging place for you to work. (On the flip side, if you are wired that way, you won't find a better place to run and grow with other like-minded people!)
