Pros

It has been incredible to see just how healthy everything is here at Life.Church, and it plays a huge part in why the church is seeing such great growth and making a huge impact. Benefits are amazing with low premiums and a great 401k plan, plus a huge chunk of vacation time which is so needed in the ministry world. Coming to work is fun, and the people I work with care about me personally. The church does, too. They've made and continue to make investments into me personally and spiritually, even providing a yearly personal/leadership development budget and a quarterly fitness bonus.

Cons

It's a high feedback culture, and that means that you really have to stay humble and teachable otherwise it will be tough for you to work here. You have to be okay with a high pace and long days. Some campuses have 7 services on Sundays, which can be exhausting. Thankfully, there is a rotation so you don't have to be at every service every Sunday.

Pros

Best place I have ever worked and I’ve worked for a lot of companies even great ones. The mission is clear and meaningful. It isn’t something that is just stated because it sounds nice. Everyone works together to accomplish that mission and enjoy working together to get there. It is evident that the leaders care about people. They believe in the health and well being of their employees. It is just as important as the mission and support is offers in so many ways.

Cons

Because of the drive and mission it is a fast paced organization. If you do not pace yourself and take care of yourself you can find that you burn out easily. Leadership will help you but you have to be willing and self aware to take the steps. Pay isn’t as high as other churches, but trust me, it’s worth it. You are taken care of and pay is good, especially as you stay with the organization.
