Pros

It's incredible to contribute to such a meaningful and important mission--we lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ! Even in behind the scenes, technical, or specialized roles we are connected to the constant miracle of life change. The leadership demonstrates such integrity and humility. The culture encourages personal growth. The people on my team are my extended family. I have worked here for 11 years and wouldn't trade my time here for anything.

Cons

If you are not committed to leading people to follow Christ with excellence and integrity, you will not like this environment. Our team is hard-core committed to improvement and innovation. If you have the ambition to make a name for yourself, don't bother applying. You will not last here. This mission isn't about personal accomplishments and accolades on earth. While there are opportunities for advancement and growth, don't consider a role as getting your foot in the door or a springboard to other things. These are only cons if you are not a fit for our fast-paced Jesus-first environment.

Pros

This is not a job or work for me - I love that every single day I get to wake up and use my God given skills and talents to change the community I live in. And the best part of it all, is that I get to do this with the most amazing people I have ever met.

Cons

Changing the community around us can be dirty work some times. You have to get sweaty. Tears will be shed. Bruises will show up. Dirt has to be moved. And we will get tired - but there is rest in Jesus.
