Pros

• All team members are committed to one another, their team, the organization, and the Church worldwide. • Kingdom-mindedness puts focus on building the Church and leading people to become fully-devoted followers of Christ, and leads to fulfilling work day in and day out. • The work Life.Church does and products and resources produced literally impact the world and billions of individuals! • Numerous high-quality ongoing training and learning opportunities available. • Best benefits package of any place I have worked. • Care of all staff and leadership for employees and their families is unsurpassed. • Fun, lively, fast-paced work environment. • Remote work opportunities available. • Flexible schedules and work conditions available if needed. • Up-to-date technology and resources made available to all employees. • Compensation package (salary, 401k, et al) is very generous.

Cons

• Fast-paced work environment not for everyone. • Depending on role, the continual focus on ministerial work might wear one down.

Pros

1) The work is meaningful. 2) The benefits are the best I've seen anywhere, ever. 3) My team is fantastic. 4) The leaders are top notch and worthy of being followed. 5) Lots of opportunities for personal development and spiritual growth. 6) Plenty of professional growth and opportunities for advancement. (a full Individual Contributor advancement path in engineering)

Cons

1) The salary is mostly competitive, but certain expertise are not considered. As a result, a highly sought after specialization in a software engineering domain can go unrecognized from a monetary perspective. 2) For Central Office positions, on-site is the rule and remote positions are the very rare exception. I live in Oklahoma for exactly one reason: to work here. I've come to terms with that, but it makes for a lot of hiring challenges.

Pros

-It was fun working with friends! I met some great people during my time. -I thought the pay was pretty good! along with the benefits! -I liked the laid back dress code!

Cons

-Each campus can be a vastly different atmosphere and everyone tries to be chill and normal about it but, it is really concerning that each campus has a slightly different culture. -It is just flat-out hard to work and worship in the same place. It's complicated and weird that your boss is also your pastor. The same guy who yells at you in a staff meeting for not getting the numbers you were supposed to get that weekend, is the same guy who's supposed to lead you on stage and be there to help pastor you on the weekends. -Sharing every single thing about your personal, professional, spiritual, financial, romantic, etc. life the expectation. It felt like there were no boundaries.
