Pros

Clean environment, membership benefits, very discounted services i.e. Massages, nails, hair.

Cons

When you think of working in a salon you think catty girls, that's how it was. There is a select few people who run the show and everything works under their eye.

Pros

Given a lot of education in the weekly staff meetings on new Lifetime Fitness product and nutrition, able to train for new positions, and able to workout on your lunch

Cons

Lacks team building and one on one supervisor to trainer mentoring Needs more sales training for new or trainers who haven't sold training in a while Doesn't set trainers up for success, moreso set up for failure from the beginning with the draw

Pros

Great sales experience, you really do learn how to battle objections and be a sales professional. Free gym membership The whole community of people there, from trainers to kids club employees Great gym, I still have my membership

Cons

This company will promise a great "work life balance" however there is absolutely none. It's funny because I remember in sales certification in Minnesota them specifically telling us "don't listen to the reviews on glassdoor! They aren't true!" Well here I am after finally getting out of that hell hole, writing a review on glassdoor. By the way, cert is a week long sales boot camp. They do pay for your flight and hotel, and give you a per diem but don't fail a test or they send you home without a job. There is no balance here, expect to work 10 hour days minimum with hardly a break. You can expect to feel guilty for going home on time, or taking a break. Even if you don't sell a membership that day which means you're there for free. It's a cutthroat position, you can make good money, but is slowly killing yourself really worth it? There are much better jobs out there. No back to back days off, 8am-9pm shifts on the last day of the month, mandatory work days on the 15th and the last 3 days of the month. It's utterly impossible to get any time off to go do anything while working at this company. Oh, and forget about having holidays off. The higher you go in that company the more you have to work. If you work in sales here, say goodbye to life outside of Life Time You have to wear a suit. For 10 hours a day
