Pros

Free lifetime fitness membership. Great people to work with. Flexible hours if you know what your doing. Awesome children! Great kids academy classes add variety to the day to day work. Sam Remus did an excellent job responding to any complaints I had and generally cared about each member.

Cons

No upward mobility. Minimum wage pay to have snot and throw up around you all day. At times 100+ kids with a decent amount crying at the same time will make the parents complain that your not doing your job which will make management yell at you to do better. Some children are spoiled and there's nothing you can do about it. Multiple times kids would be changing to go swimming in the locker room and some of them will get naked and stand up on the bench and wiggle their privats around singing "I'm ... and I know it" and I'm not allowed to grab them so I have to ask them to stop for up to half an hour. Guests in the locker room then sometimes complain that I'm not doing my job and then management yells at me

Pros

Free membership, you learn a lot about how not to lead.

Cons

Terrible hours, no work life balance, management lies all the time, numbers are fudged by sales staff to a ridiculous level, woman don't have a chance and they could be sued 1000 times over for mistakes made.

Pros

Free membership helped me and my child. Discounted membership for spouse. I've met some great people and established some lifelong and meaningful relationships.

Cons

As a commissioned employee, I'm going on two years of inaccurate pay. Not once has anyone at the club level or corporate audited my pay to determine if the revenues matched my commissions. There are numerous instances where I've worked off-the-clock; in fact, part of my job duties is to market certain programs. Any time spent on marketing is paid, but then deducted from my commissions. A dubious practice. I have knowledge of several Members being charged for services or programs in which they hadn't participated in months--sometimes almost a year--and the club will refuse to refund them unless they threaten litigation. Often these refunds are deducted from an employee's commission pay. As well, Life Time provides no written policy regarding refunds, either to Members or its employees. And only the department heads have access to certain accounting information that could shed light on accurate revenues and pay. In other words, a dirty department head could deduct refunds from a commissioned employee's pay instead of another part of their budget. Communication from corporate is, at best, indifferent if not incoherent.
