Pros

I have the privilege of working with talented and skilled technical staff each and every day.

Cons

The work is monotonous. Equipment is poorly maintained. Management and Executive Leadership are completely disconnected with what is actually happening at the technical/personal level of their teams. If you are good at your job, then you will be "pigeon holed." There doesn't seem to be any real opportunity for employees to grow in this career. Raises are nonexistent; rather, LifeNet Health grants yearly merit increases based upon performance. Pay is average to below average. Technical staff starts around $14/hr and will top out around $28/hr; however, it will take 10-12 years to get there! I have been with the company for nearly 10 years, and I have only every seen the CEO set foot in the production clean rooms once. Executive Leadership is extremely top heavy.

Pros

Decent benefits, regular pay increases and bonuses, flexibility in scheduling. Helping others and making a difference every day. Helping grieving families in their time of need. Great experience and training for your next job.

Cons

Starting pay is quite low. Several members of management are unacceptable, especially the current director. He is constantly berating employees and threatening their jobs. Has no people skills and makes jokes that are inappropriate and insulting. There is much favortism in the department and the mistakes of the chosen ones are overlooked, while others are written up. Inappropriate conversations go on every day, but they are selectivity overlooked, depending on who does the talking. I have seen many bright, eager, hard-working employees quit due to eventual frustration and disallusionment. Turnover is extremely high. It's a shame they cannot complete such an important mission while simultaneously treating their employees with compassion and resepct.
