Great Mission - Have to wonder if it is just PR stunt!

Pros

Stated Mission sounds great but in reality it is hard to follow when boss is abusive.

Cons

Mission is a sham - making money off of people in worst possible time of their life. Brainwashed employees - saying anything out of line or disparaging and you will be dealt with swiftly.

Thank you for your feedback. Our mission of "Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope" remains as important today as it did when we first started over 30 years ago. We also remain a non-profit organization dedicated to helping others. We are sorry that your time with our organization did not meet your expectations. Through our open door culture, we encourage our staff to contact Human Resources or any member of our management to discuss ways to improve the workplace.

Pros

Our mission...The people that work there. Positive part of so many lives. We can't control death but we can contribute to the good that can come out of something so tragic.

Cons

Upper management is top heavy, needs to take a look at at the little guy. It's not always about $$ but the empathy we show not only our donor families but our employees too.

Pros

- Mission Statement - Benefits - Co-workers - Company will grow by leaps and bounds

Cons

- Executives have no idea what goes on at Director level and below - Directors/managers work behind the scenes to sabotage internal transfer applicants as well, withdrawing applications without applicant knowledge on a regular basis in order to horde talent - Consistent Racist comments made on a daily basis which management ignores or selectively enforces - Employees targeted by bullying which management ignores - Salaried management consistently work less than 40 hours per week - includes Director - Employees desire to perform is crushed by management constantly telling them they are replaceable - Poor IT resources and resources in general for frontline employees - Poor staffing - but never any concessions made to limit expectations - for example, night shift in production and call center are consistently understaffed and have least senior staff; staff that may be an issue are usually shuffled to nights rather than managed - Directors and Executives are rarely held accountable for poor decisions/actions - the buck is passed to front line staff or middle management - Management often take credit for ideas and work of frontline staff

Thank you for your feedback. We recognize the value of our staff, for without their efforts, we would not be able to fulfill our mission. We foster a culture that is built on a foundation of trust and collaborative teamwork. We have a diverse workforce and we do not tolerate actions that do not otherwise embrace the diversity of our staff. Our rate of retention is best in class and we attribute this to our culture and positive work environment. If you experienced anything less than this, I would encourage you to contact myself or any member of our Human Resources team.
