Pros

Being a non-profit, this company actually helps a lot of people, that feels really good to work here. Benefits were pretty good. PTO time seemed fair. Coworkers were fun to work with.

Cons

No room for growth. Most employees that wanted to move up, seem to be roadblocked by people they hire off the street. Invest in the employees that have the knowledge and have the drive, instead of forcing them to stay at their current position. Working as someone that supported the staff, more often than not I was talked down to instead of trying to work with me. Seemed as though we didn't work for the same company in the way I was talked to. Completely unacceptable and was just brushed off, or "that's just how that employee is". Senior management had 0 knowledge of what we actually did as a job, but somehow was placed in this position. If you don't know what your employees do how are you supposed to support them. Almost no communication from them. The biggest issue is the WFH debacle. The CEO seems to think everyone inside of an office will work better instead of working from home, regardless of the statistics disproving this. He must live minutes/seconds away from the office, because after a 45 minute commute both ways, and daily useless meetings, my productivity was down the drain. The very, very few days I could work form home, my productivity was almost double that of someone in the office with the same role.

Thank you for providing very candid feedback, with this we can grow stronger as an organization. It is unfortunate that your experience here at LifeNet Health was not a good working experience. LifeNet Health is an amazing organization committed to its mission and provides excellent benefits and is a great place to work. With that being said, we are always looking for ways to provide a better employee experience. A company’s greatest asset are it’s employees and we believe that at LifeNet Health. We are continually reviewing ways to develop our employees and promote from within while also evaluating new programs like flexible work programs. We believe our culture is strongest when we are working together and innovation can flow freely within the walls. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and sincerely appreciate your feedback.

Pros

I enjoy the work and the people I work with. What we do makes a difference to peoples lives and that matters to me.

Cons

There is little opportunity for growth unless you are either in with the right people or are looking to go into other departments. Advancement opportunities were changed a couple years ago so unless you want to become a supervisor you’re capped as a Sr. Technician regardless how much you do and how much you learn. Maintaining talent also seems to be an issue. There seems to be much more of an effort to get people in the door than to keep people once they have gained experience. Very heavy turnover rate; supervisor and manager positions included. Much more work than there are trained bodies to do properly. Less is more doesn’t seem to resonate with the company unless it is referring to compensation.

Pros

A lot of personal development opportunities, everyone is friendly and great to work with, great mission/mission-driven organization, great relationship with my team.

Cons

Undercompensated, no clear path to advancement/minimal upward mobility, raises don't keep up with COL or inflation, forced to return to office/no options for remote work, teams need more people/support, limited number of women in executive positions and the ones that are, are severely overworked...

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of LifeNet Health. The company strives to provide a great work environment for everyone involved to include great compensation, benefits, career advancement, and learning opportunities. The LifeNet Health team reviews compensation several times a year to ensure we are aligned with market value and to ensure it is fair and equitable for our employees. We also look at other ways of aligning our compensation practices such as PTO and the benefits we offer. We also are continuing to evaluate the work environment for what works best with our company culture when it comes to remote or hybrid work. Thank you again for your time in reviewing our company.
