Pros

Management does their best. Fairish pay and benefits for the area. Decent equipment. Free CE. Plenty of internal opportunities if you're patient.

Cons

Call volume. High turnover like everyone else. Very conservative, out of date protocols. Focused on the patients wallet, less on the patient.

toxic workplace

Business Outlook

Pros

pay, tuition reimbursement, great healthcare insurance

Cons

toxic workplace environment, nepotism, drama filled atmosphere perpetrated by older staff. Lots of hazing behind closed doors and seems targeted to new hires. Poor training opportunities for new hires. If you are new to EMS don't work here. They don't have talented trainers that want to help you.
