Pros

The majority of the corporate employees are very nice, but they feel powerless to change any of the current processes.

Cons

Nothing ever changes and if you try to suggest process improvements, you are reprimanded. People who maintain the status quo without bothering their manager with problem-solving ideas are the ones who get promoted.

Pros

Great facility, good people, great city. I like Lander as it is situated at the foot of the Wind River mountain range, which makes for a beautiful setting. I look at the mountains everyday driving to work. The Lander hospital has had some renovations done and is a very good hospital for a small town. I enjoy working in the hospital and find that most of the staff is very devoted and takes good care of the patients. I look forward to working at the Lander hospital for some time to come. My manager is fair, if not overworked.

Cons

Staff is short handed somethings.

Pros

In the region I work it is the best and most stable employment here. As long as there is a need for healthcare, there is a chance of a job. The satisfaction of helping those in need in troubled times

Cons

Because of a lack of competent management, the staff is overworked and underpaid. Because of bad budget control, there are times when we get called off. Twelve hour shifts after six days is really hard on ones personal life. Because of budget worries we have to turn people away if they cant afford to pay the bill. More concerned with making money than helping people
