Disappointed

Pros

Friendly employees, free and unlimited coffee, nice break rooms, immaculate building, and designated rooms.

Cons

HR is never accessible, employees are written up for going above and beyond to help the patients, and employees are written up for using their best judgement to prevent or mitigate a crisis situation. It is already an unsafe environment and little to no nursing leadership or hospital leadership presence, visibility, or support for the workers.

If I could give them zero stars I would

Pros

Flexible work schedule eventually was allowed

Cons

Update from former coworker their policy now regarding coding\billing problems they will only look at an account TWICE and if it’s still not resolved they wash their hands of it and it’s the patients problem. This is unethical and seems illegal! Those accounts are sent to collections and many of them should not be! If it’s something that can be resolved so that insurance should and would pay everything possible should be done to make that happen. Crooks They have & are currently outsourcing every single decent paying job that they can since they bought our local hospital. They took many of the earned benefits from us almost immediately and whittled away the rest over a period of time….. within the first year 100’s of jobs were gone and that number is still growing because of outsourcing, with many jobs going overseas. They are worried about productivity more than accuracy which is causing all of the billing / claim issues for patients leaving them mad because there is no one to talk to now about their claim problems. Communication is almost nonexistent for employees AND patients. If I could give them ZERO stars I would! Worst organization ever to work for. We were told when we reported “errors” that we found it wasn’t our job and “we will catch it on the back end” which did NOT happen” they just ran the bills through. Human Resources was impossible to talk to, they hid behind phone messages that went unanswered. Upper management did have “bully” mentality as stated in other reviews.
