Pros

Great office environment, job is super easy to learn, amazing coworkers, the team work with sales is stellar, most people really seem to care about their jobs

Cons

Communication is both amazing and not great all at the same time. One department is told something vital to getting the job done, but then told not to tell other departments and those departments aren't told the full story. Also the paid holidays aren't the same company wide. LifeTouch has differnet holidays that Shutterfly which make the job difficult the Lifetouch needs tech support and Shutterfly is off for a holiday

Pros

-Great Pay -Fun to work with kids all day -Great place to be if you want to get started in/learn more about portrait photography!

Cons

-There’s sometimes some major communication problems the schools, corporate, and the photographers, and it can lead to a lot of issues. -Harder commutes the more rural you’re stationed. -Hard on personal vehicle with the amount of driving. -Sometimes schools can be a little high-and-mighty and there’s nothing you can really do other than try your best to work with them

Pros

Great supervisors. Good way to drill the basics of portait photography. I recommend working for their other divisions as well to get more experience and hours. Gas mileage is paid out.

Cons

My main complaint is it traps you in part time purgatory. During the busy season there are more than enough hours but then it drops off a cliff. However you often need to keep your schedule open anyways just in case something opens up. So the pay can be really sparadic and low without the freedom to do much else. I balanced another part time job with this for a bit, but that honestly made it worse. I didn't get the benefits from either job and had to go through two sets of management to get time off. Especially during fall the work is monotonous but highly stressful at the same time somehow! Very early mornings.
