Pros

In my opinion the training was fantastic. I learned a lot about photography including studio troubleshooting, lighting and proper posing techniques. The people I worked directly with were amazing and a lot of the churches that we worked had some pretty interesting people.

Cons

Management was awful. While the photographjy end of training was great, sales training was lacking. If I didn't already have previous sales experience I would have failed miserably. I've seen so many people come and go in my short time there because they couldn't make it as sales people. The area managers cared more about the church account than they did their own employees. There was a lot of driving, even through driving bans, and I was even stranded on location at a church that no one showed up to because there were driving bans due to a blizzard. I made no money and had to spend the night away from my family because management refused to call the day off.

Pros

Sometimes you get to be really creative and you meet some really nice people. The children can be fantastic and it's fun to watch them grow up. Decent management experience.

Cons

The company has unrealistic goals and treats people like cattle. They will hire anyone who is willing to do that job (upper management included) even if they aren't a good fit. The pay is horrible and the hours sucks. You're only allowed 10 minutes in the camera room and are given such a tight schedule for sessions that it is near impossible to not get behind and make people angry.
