Pros

getting to see some cute pictures

Cons

While I was trained in photography and sales, I was always assigned to sales. Almost all of your hours are on-call, and you don't get very many at that. One week I might get 8 or 10, another week I got none. It also seemed very disorganized, and the computers could be difficult to work with. Also working one-on-one with customers is not always that pleasant. And instead of hiring back former seasonal employees, the help wanted ads go up.

Pros

You can perfect your skills in lighting and studio setup. You are free to be as creative as you want in the perimeters of the studio.

Cons

Very faced paced environment during the holiday season. No bonus or incentive for sales. The continuous 'discounts' make it impossible to maintain sales goals during 'off' season
